The bigger they are

In loving memory of another gentle giant

Doug was bouncing at the Pilot House on a typical Alaskan summer night.  The sky not quite midnight blue, music bouncing off the harbor, people dancing and laughing, no worries that dawn would bring another day of hard work and fish.

One particular couple (if you were there you will know) dancing, (the wife), and drinking, (hubby dear).  The husband had imbibed enough and was ready to leave, but his beautiful wife, the Kahuna Queen, was dancing, intent on keeping Madam Pele sated and content.

Hubby walks up to Doug and asks him to bring wifey to the cab.  Doug, walks over, tells her politely that her cab has arrived 3 times and finally decides to pick her up, throw her over his massive shoulder, and head to the parking lot.

The Kahuna Queen begged for her release screaming,  "It's only DANCING~!"  Determined to continue her ritual and dance until dawn.

Poor Doug, mellow and Nordic, had no idea what was about to be released on him as the normally mellow Kahuna Queen started to burn, and Madam Pele raised her hot self, determined to be released, grabbed his gonads and dropped that tall Nordic God with one small hand full and returned to dancing.

That was the last time Doug tried to help a husband get his wife in the cab.

Welcome

Here you will find family stories. They are my memories. If you were there, and you remember it differently, I encourage you to post your own. Life is always about perspective.
